Romina Kutlesa started photography as a hobby when she was on holidays. The first staircase image she ever took was in Munich, her hometown. As time went on, she saw potential from staircases all over the world – she enjoyed the straight, clear lines and symmetry in the architecture.
Romina has a very specific workflow – from shooting to retouching. She has her ‘go to’ areas where she knows she is guaranteed promising shots any time of the day, this is mainly in cities like Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, but she also works in another locations in Europe, such as Lyon, Oslo, Stockholm, Iceland and many other destinations. As for retouching, Romina focuses mostly on brightness and clarity.
